TripList
A simple way to organize and share group trips.
TripList helps you plan trips with friends, manage itineraries, split costs, and keep everything in one place. I built it for my own trips because existing apps were either too complex or too basic.
The problem
Planning a trip with friends usually means a lot of back and forth in group chats, random spreadsheets, and forgotten details. We needed a single place to plan, organize and stay on the same page.
My approach
I focused on keeping things simple and visual. The goal was to make planning feel easy and even fun. I built the core "itinerary + expenses" first and then added the extra features that make a trip actually run smoothly.

What I learned
- Start with your own problem. It keeps you motivated.
- Simplicity is a feature, not a missing feature.
- Building in public (even a little) keeps you accountable.
- The boring parts (responsive, editing, edge cases) are what make the product actually useful.
